3 Day Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech Via Merzouga

Our Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour 3 Days begins at 8:00 a.m. with a drive through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane and Azrou. Along the way, we'll pause to observe the Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat amidst the cedar forests, then continue on to Midelt via the Tizi N'talghamt. As we approach Errachidia, the picturesque Middle-Atlas plateau and the first hints of the desert landscape will come into view. From there, we'll journey through the magnificent Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. At our hotel in Merzouga, you'll drop off your luggage before embarking on a 1.5-hour camel ride to a Sahara campsite nestled amidst the highest sand dunes in North Africa. Enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night under the stars, surrounded by the breathtaking desert scenery.

Rise and shine the following day to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes before indulging in a delicious breakfast. Then, you'll hop on a camel for a return trip to the hotel where your driver awaits to take you on the next leg of your journey to the Dades Valley via Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Take a stroll beneath the towering red cliff, which was once a favored spot for rock climbers to practice their skills. Finally, arrive at the Dades Valley for dinner and spend the night under the starry sky.

Once breakfast is finished, we'll embark on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, stopping at Kelaat Mgouna to witness the celebrated "Roses Festival." Our journey continues to Skoura village before reaching Ouarzazate, known as Africa's Hollywood. After indulging in a delectable lunch at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, we'll head towards Marrakech via the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka pass that snakes through the High Atlas Mountains. We'll take several breaks along the way to appreciate the splendid views, arriving in Marrakech at approximately 6:00 pm, concluding our adventure.
