Overview
Embark on a 2-day trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Start your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech and a scenic drive to the Imlil Valley, where your trek begins. Meet your local guide and trek through the picturesque Aït Mizane Valley, passing the charming village of Aremd and the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Continue on a steep path to the Toubkal Refuge, where you will spend the night in a mountain refuge. Start early to ascend Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Trek through rocky terrain and cross streams to reach the plateau, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Marrakech, the High Atlas Mountains, the Anti-Atlas, and even the distant Sahara Desert. After reaching the summit, descend back to the refuge and return to Imlil, before driving back to Marrakech.
